Guest guest
My son is going for his fitting on 2-29, but I actually checked into Cranial Technologies first. They were also out of my network, and my deductible is $300.00 and they would pay 70%. They checked on it, and my part was going to be $900.00. I started doing some research on my insurance website and eventually found Hanger. They are in my network, and I'm not sure how much it will cost me out of pocket yet, but it is going to be a lot less. I hope it works out for you! wilkens2275 <nwilkens2275@...> wrote: Is there anyone out there that has any experience with BCBS Federal Employee Program (of North Carolina specifically, but any state will do)? We got our DocBand from CT and they are considered out of network for BCBS FEP, which means that I had to file my own claim (which I just mailed today) and they will cover 75% after our deductible. The insurance specialist at CT said that BCBS of NC typically only covers about 600 dollars BEFORE the deductible (so for us, our deductible is 300 and the would cover 75% of the other 300, which is 225). Although regular BCBS is different from BCBS FEP, I'm preparing for the worst here (75% of 300 is a lot different than 75% of 2700). If anyone has had any experience with this insurance, I'd love to hear from you. Especially if there's any chance of appealing based on the amount covered (as opposed to appealing on whether it's covered at all). Thanks!Jake-17m (tort resolved/rt plagio/DocBand 2/11/08)Jordan-4 Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Search.
