Guest guest
My son is 3 months old and about a month ago I noticed that he was forming ridges along his coronal suture lines. I am very familiar with cranio but at this point do not think that is what this is. Here are his "symptoms"... · He favors his right side to sleep and nap. · He tends to always look to the right and has his headed titled a bit to the right too - I think this is a mild case or tortcollis (sp?). · His forehead on the right side is slightly more forward and he has a higher forehead on this side too (again, hardly noticeable). · The left side of his face is wider than the right and his temple on the left side is more indented. · His eyes and brows are symmetrical and his head is perfectly round in the back. His ears appear to be lined up correctly too. Starting this week I have been making him sleep on his less-preferred left side and making him turn his head to the left as well. Any thoughts? Does this sound like plagio? He has his 4 month check-up on 4/2 and I will bring it up at that time with his ped. I really just want to know more information and calm my fears that it might be the onset of cranio. Anyway... any help is appreciated. Thanks, -Krista-
