Deepa-I'm sorry you're going through this! Unfortunately, I can't help with your questions, but I can recommend that you check out the Older Plagio message board on . It is mostly parents of older children who missed their chance at banding as well, and maybe they can give you some advice. I'm not sure I read of anyone having the surgery, but they do have experience in other techniques of therapy (I can't remember the name of therapy right now) that apparently helps in reshaping the skull.
