Thanks Gabby

Like you I have tried so many alternative " fix all's " (some are still in the

medicine cupboard)

I bought some Chromium Picolinate and have tried it, but I'm still not sure

if it has any beneficial effect.

Bye for now

Yes I have tried it. It seemed to give me more energy, however I was also

taking co-enzyme Q10 at the same time. I think the Q10 provides more

energy.

Chromium piccolinate is for the better uptake and production of insulin, I

believe.

Do you want the whole list of herbal remedies I have tried, to get out of

the tired, sluppy, grumps?

ox bile tablets for digestion - I had my gall bladder out several years ago

and was trying to supplement my own bile production.

guaranna (spelling?) caffine type amazonian herbal stuff for extra zing,

which I'm sure you have heard of.

mega vitamin B

sharks cartilidge, to soak up the fat, I seem to remember

and plethoria of other alternative stuff,

hugs,

Gabby

Hi Errin

I have had the band in for two years now, I basically didn't loose any weight after I went overseas with my husband last year. I had all the fluid taken out so that I would be able to eat, drink and be merry while I was away, unfortunately when I was away I ate and drank way too much so I gained afew kilos. I came back to and was tightened and asked to be transferred to someone in Newcastle, basically lets say he did something to my band and that resulted in a leek and a twist in the tubing so I didn't loose anything until july this year when I was opened up for a look. I actually had gained twelve kilos since the November 2000. Not amused!!

Now I am finally loosing weight again and this time I don't care that I have to drive all the way to Brissy to see .
