Has anyone run into any problems or taken a child to a dentist with any problems? Jack is constantly shifting his lower jaw and grinding his teeth and I am just looking for answers. My ped suggested taking him to a dentist, I am in the process of looking for a group that just deals in children, our current is a family dental group and I dont feel comfortable taking Jack to see them. Guest guest
I would go to your ped to check on the teeth grinding, can be early sign of other issues Durocher <funwith4@...> wrote: has jaw problems still but so did my oldest and so does my 2 yr old, neither plagio babies so I figure for us it is par for the course. Guest guest
I don't have any answers for you - yet - we are also dealing with jaw issues. Luli's jaw is smaller on her tort (left) side. Her bottom eye tooth on the right sticks out farther than the others and her smile is asymetrical. I am going to be seeing a dentist for it eventually But I am addressing other things right now. Luli's craniofacial dr said that IF her jaw did not even out then we would discuss distraction when she was older. Here's a pic of her smile: at 16mo and 22mo View full size View full size Jen and Luli - 24 months Left tort - Right Plagio - Hanger Band Grad - CA http://www.babiesonline.com/babies/j/jens5th/ Quick question regard jaw issues.
