Yes, jaw issues can be a side effect of plagio.  My plagio son

has a bit of a cross-bite.  However, my oldest, non-plagio son also has a

cross-bite so perhaps some of it is hereditary.  My youngest hasn’t seen

a dentist yet but the dentist said for my older son we would just keep an eye

on it and that it might require braces down the road.

Subject: [sPAM] Quick question regard jaw issues.

Hello everyone, Jack graduate from his starband

after 10 months. I know

possible side effects of plagio could be jaw issues. Has anyone run

into any problems or taken a child to a dentist with any problems? Jack

is constantly shifting his lower jaw and grinding his teeth and I am

just looking for answers. My ped suggested taking him to a dentist, I

am in the process of looking for a group that just deals in children,

our current is a family dental group and I dont feel comfortable taking

Jack to see them. You all have been helpful in the past and looking

forward to some words of wisdom.

Thanks
