Guest guest
Even on meat: what is the marinade (most likely soy based with wheat)? Are the hot dogs GF (or any other allergen free)? You'll have to ask that question of the program (and probably repeat every month). The bacon and ground beef are probably fine ... but I wonder if you'd even save money vs. carefully buying on sales (even if you could use the whole package). If they package these items themselves, you'll also want to ask about CC issues (is there any posssibility of CC with the marinaded meat, say by the same gloved hands, etc). At least the family meal has a bunhc of produce - it will all be naturally gf (and easily washed off if you are concerned about any CC issues). > -----Original Message----- > > Any one know if SERVE New England (or SHARE, in other parts of the > USA) food packages are gluten free? > > I've done SERVE in the distant past, and it was mainly meats and > veggies with some pastas and such. Guest guest
In the past, when we'd easily use the whole package as a family, it was a great deal price-wise. Now I have to wonder if I could use it well. I'm not a good sale shopper. I don't have patience for reasearching the sales and shopping in more than one spot. When I go into my regular store and happen to hit upon a sale just by happenstance, I feel like I've won a lottery I didn't even know I entered. My life is such that I really seem to only fit in shopping in one place. > > Even on meat: > > what is the marinade (most likely soy based with wheat)? > Are the hot dogs GF (or any other allergen free)? > > You'll have to ask that question of the program (and probably repeat every > month). > > The bacon and ground beef are probably fine ... but I wonder if you'd even > save money vs. carefully buying on sales (even if you could use the whole > package).
