Guest guest
Welcome to the group. It does sound like her plagio is about 23 mm. This is severe, but not unheard of. I would make sure you are working with a good ortho or clinician to get maximum correction. Also you many end up with multiple bands. I would try to band as quickly as possible, since she's at a good age. Best of luck & let us know if you have more questions. -christine sydney 2 yrs starband grad > > Hey Everyone, > > My 6 1/2 month old Nikki was diagnosed with plagio and left tort on > Friday the 11th. Guest guest
Thanks for the quick answer ! We are banding on Friday the 25th. She was cast on Tuesday the 15th. It seems as though my orthotist really wants to get a jump on this. She is going to be using the Starband Bivalve because of some protruded areas on her face. Thank you for the kind words and I'm glad to hear that she isn't a lost cause! > > > > Hey Everyone, > > > > My 6 1/2 month old Nikki was diagnosed with plagio and left tort on > > Friday the 11th.
