Guest guest
I'm positive. I ate it only with plain steamed veggies. I did use Trader Joes vegetable broth to cook it in. I've been using that broth for a long time without a problem. I know others have had problems with their chicken broth (I believe, I don't eat chicken so I don't remember for sure), but there aren't even any questionable ingredients in the veggie broth, only veggies. No flavorings etc. Like I said though, I have had it in 's Gone Crackers and been fine, possibly other things too that I can't remember now. It could have been that particular brand, or I just have an intolerance to it in anything besides small quantities. All I know is that I will not be subsituting it for rice again. It wasn't even that good. Molly Molly ---Are you sure that it was the quinoa and not something else?I am almost certain that there is no cross-contamination with quinoa --- this is checked thoroughly every Passover because quinoa is kosherfor Passover without special supervision, so cannot contain any glutenproducts.JanetOn 5/8/06, Molly < mollycwilliams@...> wrote:>>> I have had small amounts of quinoa with no noticible problems (I'm thinking> off hand of those delicious crackers called " 's Gone Crackers " ). >> However, I bought boxed quinoa at Trader Joes that was labeled GF. Guest guest
Hi Molly. I'm sorry that you had a problem with TJ's quinoa. I eat it all the time and never had a problem. I've gone through 4 lbs in the past 6 weeks. Janet > > > I'm positive. I ate it only with plain steamed veggies. I did use Trader > Joes vegetable broth to cook it in.
