Guest guest
Hi Alice, Yep 3.48/0.46 = 7.56. Thats really quite bad. It needs to be above 20! How are you feeling with that ratio? Normally with a ratio like that I think you'll probably have to get on T3 ( if you're not already) What medication are you on at the moment? How are you ferritin levels? Adrenals ok? Take care, Josie Total thyroxine: 72.2 (58-154 nmol/L)TSH: 0.18 (0.4 - 4 mIU/L)Free T4: 13.4 (10 - 22 pmol/L)Free T3: 3.48 (2.8 - 6.5 pmol/L)Free T4 T3: ratio 3.85 (3 - 5)Thyrogobulin <20 (<40)Peroxidase (Microsomal) <10 (<35)Reverse T3 0.46 (0.14 - 0.54 pmol/L)I worked out my RT3/T3 ratio to be 7.5 (think that's right?!) I think thatmight be a bit low? Get a free e-mail account with Hotmail. Sign-up now.
Guest guest
Hi Josie! Thanks for getting back to me. I'm not feeling reat to be honest - terrible fatigue and depression. I'm currently taking 1.5 grains of NDT and am feeling a little better on it. My ferrritin was 27 5 months ago and I've been supplementing with ferrous sulphate, I need to get it rechecked but I feel like the FS is doing the trick. I'm pretty sure my adrenals are fatigued, I've been supporting them naturally and should get the results of my saliva test in a couple of weeks, Alice > > > Hi Alice, > > > > Yep 3.48/0.46 = 7.56.
