Guest guest
I had Gliadin antibodies tested while doing cortisol tests and they were 58!! Normal is <13, borderline is 13-15, and >15 is severe intolerance. Docs said they were the the highest antibodies ever seen in the office. Needless to say, I avoid wheat, rye, barley, and even oats. My headaches have GONE away completely unless I ingest any of the offending foods, no anxiety any more, no shakiness (low blood sugar feelings), energetic, happy, no ringing in my ears, and just FEEL really good At first, I thought I was having major cortisol/thyroid issues....felt like I was going to keel over...but as soon as I changed my diet, all of my symptoms pretty much disappeared I have been doing this for almost 2 months now - felt better immediately after I eliminated the bad grains. When I was first diagnosed, my antibody levels were as follows: December 06 Thyroglobulin AB 556 (should be 0 -40) Thyroid Peroxid 63 (should be 0-34) October 07 Thyroglobulin AB 450 (should be 0 -40) Thyroid Peroxid 28 (should be 0-34) I am curious to see how much or if at all the antibody tests change as a result of gluten free diet. Oh, and I take 3/4 grain of Armour...24 hr cortisol levels are good and feel good on that small of Armour - I also do take some additional thyroid supplements and I do take 1 tsp of licorice root in the morning as well ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals?
