Yes, I would check with your STARband provider to see if it is

possible for them to make a band given how mild the asymmetry is. They

should be able to tell you if there are enough holding points. There have

been people in this group who have banded at 8 mm so it is entirely possible to

do so. What it really comes down to is how you feel about your daughters

head shape. If you want to see some correction than by all means pursue

the band. Hopefully the neurosurgeon will write the prescription for

you. Is your paediatrician willing to write it? All you need is the

prescription from the doctor, it doesn’t necessarily need to be from a

specialist.

Thanks for the quick reply!

We have a STARband person in our town, he was actually the one to do

our originally measurements. I guess I can see if we can go back and

get her measured again. The PT feels like her facial assy. is

definitely because of the plagio because the eye and cheek stick out

further and look much rounder on her flat side.
