DOC bands are a little different. The first 2 days, the baby is in them for 3-4 hours. Then you take off the band to let any red spots fade. Usually they are out of it for an hour and then they are back in it for another 3-4 hours. This is done the first couple of days to get the baby used to the band. After that they will wear it for 23 hours a day with an hour break. (Usually to bath them and to clean the band.)
