Guest guest
I have to agree with you, my son was with me 24/7 so there was no chance of anyone taking him so I had his name on his band. It actually really broke the ice around strangers when he was banded as they could approach us and call him by his name rather than just sit there and stare at him. I had to laugh when a woman I was talking to in the grocery store kept referring to my “daughter” despite the fact that my son was wearing a blue band with his name Nicolas on it J I think the name on clothing objects applies more to older kids where a stranger calling them by their name might give them a false sense of security that the person knows them (i.e., a stranger approaches a kid walking home from school and says “Hi , your mom asked me to give you a ride home from school” and the kids goes with him because the man knows his name and therefore must know his mom). I just dont think that anyone would have the chance to take him b/c he in in my eye range 24/7 but I know it could happen. Right now we have his nickname on there which is " Boog " . but I might not put it on there at all either Re: Decorating We decorated Sophia's helmet about every two weeks just b/c I enjoyed it and the stickers lasted fine for that long. I put her name on the front which was great when we were out in public since she is a very social baby. I used Christmas in Dec, pastels January 1st, and Silver glitter butterflies for her finale as she graduates next Wed 6 M old daughter - Dallas DocBand > > > > > > > > > My daughter Brooklyn was cast for her Starband today…what a > > > traumatic 30 min L! Guest guest
Molly, So you think it is okay to have his name on it? Guest guest
I used a dry paper towell or dry washcloth and scrubbed really hard. You could also take a hard bristle new tooth brush and scrub really hard. Then once I got most of it with a dry something then I would take the rubbing alcohol and scrub. It does take some work but I never had an issue with it. Good luck. > > > > > > > > > > > > My daughter Brooklyn was cast for her Starband today…what a > > > > traumatic 30 min L! Guest guest
Goo Gone is the way to go- I just used the stuff on a cotton ball to rub off the adhesive and it worked great.
