Hi all...

first of all congratulations to all of you that have lost HUGE

amounts of weight and are doing very well.....I am just soooooo

jealous! I had my op 5 months ago today and so far have only lost 28

pounds...of course i know that loosing 28 pounds is much better than

nothing...(or even worse gaining weight)...and i have also noticed

that i am obsessing less about food now which is great! However, i

have a dilema.....i already have 6mls in my swedish band (maximum of

9mls) and yet i can still eat quite a lot...for example today i was

on a course and was fed a 3 course meal of:

soup with bread roll

large piece of quiche with carrots and peas (i choses not to have

potatoes as i thought i might be too full but probably could have

managed them!)

apricot crumble and custard!

these were 'normal' sized portions as dished out by serving staff! i

ate very slowly and chewed well but was able to finish it all without

any problems....although I did then feel full (pre-band i would not

have done)

I really don't think i am going to loose much weight when i can eat

all of this....does this seem too much to other bandsters???

however on the other hand i already have 6 mls in my band..and i am a

bit worried that if i get much closer to the maximum fill amount

after only 5 months then i will not have much 'slack' left as time

goes on! what does anyone think????

Helen
