Guest guest
I'm glad Zach is doing so well in his band. My daughter had brachy and started about 97%, and ended at about 86%. Most kids don't get to the normal (78-80%). I was ready to quit at 4 mo, but her band still fit and the ortho & doctor convinced me to keep going as long as I could. I decided to hang in another month, and she outgrew the band and got 2% more correction. I'm really glad we waited because her head is still not perfect, and sometimes I still notice it. But I know I did what I could for it. So my advice is to keep going while the band still fits. Sydney only had a little asymmetry and went from 4.5 to 3.5 mm while in the band, but we weren't worried about correcting that. You can see her before & after pics in the photos, Our Plagio Babies S/ Sydney M. -christine sydney 2 yrs starband grad > > > From: Plagiocephaly [mailto:Plagiocephaly ] > On Behalf Of Pam Schraedley Desmond > Sent: 5 March 2008 09:01 > Plagiocephaly > Subject: [sPAM] cephalic index > > > > > > Hi all, > > > > My little Zach has been banded for 5-6 weeks for plagio and brachy.
