Guest guest
Hmmmm, something doesn't seem right. It's been over a month and it's still loose? Does he have plagio or brachy? Does he have any forehead bossing? If there is bossing, I would be concerned that the band being loose in the front would not be effective. It should fit snugly, at least on the bossed side. If there is no bossing, then maybe it's okay? I'm not really sure. Does it seem snug in the prominent areas where you don't want anymore growth (i.e. the side opposite the flat spot for plagio, or both sides for brachy)? I would definitely bring up your concern again when you see the ortho on Monday. Please keep us posted. Guest guest
What type of band is it? Molly Re: Loose helmet?? Hmmmm, something doesn't seem right. It's been over a month and it's still loose? Guest guest
My daughter has been in her helmet since Feb. 3rd and her helmet is still fairly loose and she hasn't had a huge amount of head growth since she got the helmet so I guess it's pretty normal. My orthotist also didn't seem all that worried about it being too loose. > > Hi everyone, > I was wondering if it is normal for s helmet to be pretty loose > still?
