Guest guest
If rT3 has built up and is blocking T3, wouldn't taking mroe T3 be against its cause then? I mean only removing T4 would let the T3 in the blood work better! I am afraid of pooling!HOWEVER, while on T4-only, I was not getting very much worse and worse, I just stayed bad most of the time. I never tested rT3 in 2008 though.. Only in 2009..What annoys me is my bloated face! Maybe it really is too much HC............. I don't have all the Hypo symptoms so.....Could be an infection, but I am not sure. 1 week ago my CRP was less than 8, which means no infection. Whites are also ok, less than 10. I do have chronically infected tonsils and they don't (?) show up on any blood samples for infections if I am not mistaken. >Would an increase in rT3, leading to T3-blockage, cause headaches when I go hypo? I don't know, try a little more T3 and see what happens (T3 is quick to build and reduce, much easier to dose by symptoms than Erfa) >My temps are elevated to 37.2 C as opposed to the normal 37.0, and I am wondering if I need to cut HC down again, to 30 or below 30 mg daily. Could it be an infection raising it??? >My head feels "rotten" ! Guest guest
Why do you not just get the tonsils fixed so that people here can actually help you???? For the ERFA and t3, again, you have to decide what plan you want to go and decide to follow it. Jumping all around and changing things all the time won't help. You have no idea what is doing what right now because you need to get to a stable place first, even if that stable place is stable but not feeling well. THEN you can do temp graphs, etc., to help decide if you need more or less HC, more or less thyroid meds, etc. ERFA takes 4 to 6 weeks to build up and see what is going on. Sooo...you have to decide if you're going to stay on it or not. So how do we know if it's from HC or low t3? Very hard to say! If it's HC, you should have other high cortisol symptoms, such as high BP, high blood sugar, maybe even the stretch marks, etc. And your temps mean nothing with your tonsil problems, so how can anyone possibly help you? People reply to you, , they WANT to help you, but it's hard because you change things a lot and never get your tonsils fixed.
