BERRIES-inc purple grapes, carnberries, boysenberries, raspberries, strawberries, currants, blackberries, cherries, (fresh, frozen, or dried). OATS-steel cut, also wheat germ and ground flaxseed. ORANGES-also lemons, white and pink grapefruit, kumquats, tangerines, and limes. PUMPKIN-also carrots, butternut squash, sweet potatoes, orange bell peppers. SALMON-also alaskan halibut, cnned albacore tuna, sardines, herring, trout, sea bass, oysters and clams. WALNUTS- also almonds, pistachios, peanuts, sesame seeds, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, macadamia nuts, pecans, hazelnuts, and cashews. This book claims that there are superfoods that will help us fight cancer and other health alliments (sp?). The food in CAPS is the " superfood " they listed and then the also's are the " sidekicks " in the book. I included everything that said it contained potassium on their list. Hope this helps..............If anyone has more info on this pls let me know. I also heard of some health sites that i'll past on when I find them. We had to wipe the computer and I lost all my favs. DARN!!!! G 155/135/125 Tomatoes! :-) Sherry wrote: Ok I just started Phase 1 today. Had breakfast of eggs. One thing in this diet that bothers me, is how am I going to get my potassium? That's why I eat the Heart Healthy oatmeal, it's fortified with the right amount of potassium. I have a problem with not getting enough when I don't eat that. Banannas, oranges and cantalop are all high in it, but they are off limits. I can't take a multiple vitamin because they all contain either iodine, or green tea - I can't have either. Is there a veggie I'm missing? Sherry --------------------------------- Yahoo!
