Guest guest
How do platns regulate cellular metabolism? The have mitocondria, so I'd think would need T3 as a regultor.. But plants don't have thyroids that I know of.. Do they have some specialized part that creates T4/3 out of the iodine they absorb, or I am wrong, and plant mitochonria (and I assume those lower eukaryotes) somehow get by without it, or have evolved a " back pathway " for activating the same things (which of course is too slow for animals).
