Guest guest
Hi All, I'm trying to get the inspiration to write my 2nd appeal to UHC...I'm getting very discouraged from the rejection and by reading all the denial notices to other families....maybe someone's letter will motivate me and give me some hope to try one more time. My sister has Atena and they paid 100% for my nephew's DOC band without any questions or denials. I'm still making payments on the $3000...UGHHHH... Thank you for your time, Jen ( Mom of Marcus 7 months old, 5 weeks in the DOC Band in AZ 110 degree heat....no fun)
Guest guest
Jen, I don't know if I can be much help. I am looking for someone/something to motivate me to start my first appeal to UHC and we live in Chandler. I have never been motivated because of all the discouraging news here re. UHC. I know that I should do it and I am running out of time slowly. What was their reason? Ours says it is cosmetic and is not necessary to improve a functional impairment that was present at birth. Meaning he wasn't born with a functional impairment. Although he does have tort so I think that should be enough. Maybe we can email back and forth and help eachother. Thanks.
