Hi,

do any of you know how and if the birth control pill changes hormone

levels during the cycle? I mean, is it always constant, or do hormone

levels change during the cycle even when you're on the pill? I have

noticed that I experience the strongest vulvar pain during the last

week of taking the pill (I take it for three weeks and then have a

one-week break). It has drospinerone (3mg) and ethinyl estradiol

(30µg). Is it possible that there's a correlation?

Thanks,

Yvonne

Hi,

I have realized that I experience the strongest pain during the last

week of taking the pill. I take it for three weeks, then have a

one-week break. My birth control pill has 3 milligrams of drospirenone

and 30 mikrograms of ethinyl estradiol. Could there be a correlation

between these hormones and vulvar pain? I mean, do hormone levels

change during the cycle even when I'm on the pill? Or do the remain

constant for as long as I take the pill?

Thanks,

Yvonne

,

Yeah. Dr. doesn't prescribe T. Argh.

My PT feels strongly that my hormonal problems are contributing to my V

issues. I am going to a hormone clinic next month to start getting it

figured out. I never have cyclical symptoms, because I don't really

have cycles. =( Not to speak of, anyway.
