Guest guest
, With what the neurologist said to Carol about them affecting other nerves possibly when it comes to doing damage, I think that's what happened to me too even though mine was an actual trigger point. Even though it is a block for muscle I think it still could have irritated my ilioinguinal nerve the way it has the past 10 months in addition to the genitofemoral nerve I normally have a problem with. I think it also explains the problem with why I have vulvodynia now too after having had surgery to my vulvar area 10 years ago. Carol, glad you shared this information with us from the doctor. Now I'm even more glad I didn't go with the nerve block thru Interventional Pain Management even though I decided some time ago not too. I think this helps me understand too what my doctor picked up in the letter from the clinic where I would have gone if I got it done.
