Havent read this article but just wanted to share the fact that my son (aspergers) had one blue eye and one brown eye. His optometrist actually took photos of them to share with his med students.

Around age 10, his eyes changed ....the blue eye is now hazel. The other one remains brown.

I saw the article below, “Look Them in the Eyes†as a FB post several months ago...Interesting...Several parents had indicated how their kids’ eyes had changed color over the years. I’m sure someone will say this is “normal†as is everything with autism...It’s all normal.
