Angie,

It sounds to me like it is for the accessory muscles used during an asthma

attack. Could this be what he said to use it for? I know I get severe upper

back pain, almost spasms, when I have bronchitis or an asthma attack and once I

get a nebulizer or use my inhaler, I stop using the accessory muscles and they

stop hurting.
