Guest guest
Listmates, My daughter has now had three 50,000 iu gelcaps of vitamin D, and her temperature on rising this morning was 98.0 and she wasn't sick! This is up from 96 before we started, and 97.2 after the first week's pill, 97.7 last week. I hope we are on a roll! She has run a low temperature her entire life...all 16 years. I am totally amazed at this change, and it makes me realize that there may be others out there who are as extremely vitamin D deficient as she was and for whom this therapy could really turn things around. I have the feeling that she may either need more vitamin D than others, or she just cannot get it from diet and has to get it from the sun or from megadoses. There may be others like her....but the key in identifying this, I think, is the chronically low temperature. I think I told you that she has very little body consciousness because I think she has learned to ignore pain her whole life, so she still looks at me a little funny when I ask her if her pain is better. What I am really hoping to see is more happiness on rising and a return of energy and initiative that we see in the summer but lose in the winter. Guest guest
, Every time I go the doc my temp is between 96 and 97, rarely higher. Just had some extensive bloodwork done and doc told me I was extremely deficient with the following: B-6, B-12 and Vitamin D! Found out a little over a week ago. Anyway, I started taking vitamins, only the ones I need right away. Starting to feel a little better. I won't know about the temp thing until I go to the doc again, in a few weeks. At least you have answers at an early age, by the sounds of it. I'm in my mid 30's and just figuring out why i've felt lousy most of my life... Best wishes!
