Are you supposed to hold up your surgery so you can call your insurance to check that every person involved is under your coverage? I couldn't believe it. Becky, I've been through the same thing before. And I've asked the Insurance how am I supposed to know who's covered and who isn't? I've been told to ask...but like you said, how can we ask every single person that helps in our treatment!!! It makes me nervous when it comes to having surgical procedures. Some of the hospitals in my area don't have a contract with my Insurance but will accept the "contracted" rate, so that helps! It's crazy, though! ~Chelle
