Guest guest
Hello All, My 6 1/2 month old daughter, Suzy, has been in her DOC band for six weeks now. She had severe torticollis from birth and began PT at about 2 1/2 months old. About a month ago our PT gave us a " clean bill of health " on her torticollis and told us we didn't need to come in anymore. He suggested continuing the stretches at home for a while. Well, because she had no range of motion issues and no tilting, I got lazy and quit doing them. Unfortunately, today she woke up with a tilt and it persisted all day. I did the stretches today, and I'm sure that she'll wake up fine tomorrow. But, my question for the group is -- how long will the tort continue to be a problem? How long should I continue to do the stretches? I honestly thought we were out of the woods with the tort, but obviously I was wrong... Thanks in advance for your help!
