Guest guest
Thanks for the info, Margery I guess I'll just hang out at 75 mcg for awhile and hope that my RT3 clears sooner rather than later --- I still feel really crappy. But I've read that when it does clear, people sometimes feel dramatically better almost overnight, so that helps me hang onto some hope. Also, I may go back to Cynomel or try Cytomel --- I just recently went to the generic, and that may not be helping matters... > > > > > > > > My HC and ferritin levels are good, but I still have an RT3 issue and so am taking Cytomel. I've been increasing by 6.25 mcg every 7 days and am now at 75 mcg. My resting heart rate tends to be high (80s or sometimes even 90s) but hasn't gotten higher. Should I keep upping my Cytomel the way I have been, or should I hold at 75 mcg for awhile and wait for the RT3 to clear, so that I don't get hyperthyroid symptoms? Thanks > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
I've never used it, but some here have posted that the generic did not work well for them. " For me, the generic was absolutely useless... I'd been on the name brand for a while and when my insurance made me switch it was like I was taking ZERO T3... Had to go with the Mexican Cynomel, which worked much better for me... " from http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/message/43676 I've read several posts about sudden RT3 clearance. Here's an excerpt from Moderator Nick: " I would expect slow progress and then a sudden breakthrough at around the 12 week mark " from http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/message/41156 > > > > > > > > > > My HC and ferritin levels are good, but I still have an RT3 issue and so am taking Cytomel.
