Hello everyone--

I have a few questions about ferritin myself. On my first test I was at 22, now

I'm at 33. I took Iron in high doses for about a month but it really destroyed

my tummy. It caused horrible constipation and sent me into a bout of IBS which I

had under good control before. I know I need to get my iron up, however. I would

like to get it in shots, but I doubt I could convince a doc to give me them

since my other iron tests are normal.

I am thinking if I could show some articles or something to a doc I might have a

better chance. Can anyone recommend sources that discuss the relationship

between ferritin and hypo?
