Chelle and everyone,

I am hoping but am not sure my PT is " updated " on

pelvic floor work. She runs a woman-only PT practice

and 40% or so of her patients are suffer from vulvar

pain. Are there certain questions I can ask or other

ways to evaluate how knowledgable and effective she is

with cases of vulvar pain?

Are there certain techniques or exercises that will

let me know that she is current?

On other thing. I had a miserable night last night.

What is best for immediate pain relief? Ice was ok

for me. I know Molly said she used heat packs so I'm

going to get some of those. Last night I felt like I

needed an elephant tranquilizer or something - I was

soooo painful. I am a tad better this am but am

terrified about the decline that occurs over the

course of the day.

Last night I learned that although I have a suffering

vulva, I have an amazingly kind husband, so that's the

silver lining for me today.

Hope you are all pain-free or at least decreased

today.

:) Melinda
