Guest guest
You need a copy of the lab report. Ur doc is using the reference ranges of the lab he used to test your blood. If u want Vliets numbers, go to the messaging sections of our archives and queryranges for estrogen - you'll find a number of posts (mostly by Dee) quoting these from various docs. (Keep in mind that what you feel best at is the range for you as we are all different and many of us fall below or above any given range and still feel well - or , in other words - don't feel well WITHIN range. Another very useful this is our archives info section:http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/VulvarDisorders/files/Becky Thorn wrote: <<You don't post the reference ranges for us, wo we can't really tell anything about this. >> Sorry, I thought you guys knew what the ranges were supposed to be--that's why I was asking. I don't have a lab report right now, so I can only tell you what my doc said. She said at Day 3, they like to see at least a 10 (mine was 7). Day 5 should be 15-18 (mine was 14). And she didn't say what Day 10 should be, only that it does tend to drop around that time because of preparing for menstruation (mine was 10). She thought these were low based on these reference ranges. I wanted to know what reference ranges you all thought were best--if this sounded right to you. I don't have Vliet's book.
