try googling mouth and vaginal blisters..... or "causes of vaginal and mouth blisters" or something like this. Try googling all your symptoms to see what can be found.archersdream wrote: Hi, Just checking on something here... anyone out there with fungal infection that is not candida? Histoplasmosis? Blastomycosis? Anyone with chronic back pain? I'm wondering about possible connection because I read somewhere some vulvodynia is misdiagnosed and is actually fungal infection. I broke out in folliculitis all over my trunk, neck, legs, arms, etc... the dermatologist did a biopsy and determined it was folliculitis and couldn't determine for some reason whether it was fungal or bacterial.... she treated me for both, with Nizoral shampoo (put all over body and leave on for 10 min before washing off in shower) for any fungal infection and Doxycycline (30 days prescription) for any bacterial infection. Interesting, after two weeks it had mostly cleared and I felt fine but then I started having this really horrible back pain, yeast infections, numb arms and legs, cold/allergy symptoms, fatigue, etc... so I

ate a lot of yogurt, took garlic and everything but the back pain cleared up. It's persisted and it's been several weeks since I finished treatment... the folliculitis is now coming back and so is the stuffy head. And, as soon as I started experiencing the yeast type symptoms, I broke out in all of these painful blisters in my vulvar area and also my mouth. That has to be a sign of fungus or yeast, doesn't it? She did give me two Diflucan capsules when I complained about the yeast infection... seemed to help temporarily. I see more than usual discharge but it just doesn't look like regular old yeast to me... it looks similar but different.
