I'm not so sure we can't eat baked beans, it's just there are better beans. I'm

not sure which ones are best, but the key is to look for the highest amount of

fiber. Beans can be high in carbohydrates, so the higher fiber content needs to

be evaluated in comparison to the grams of carbohydrates.

Instead of Baked beans?

I understand that baked beans are not recommended for diabetics. But what

about refried beans or anything else along those lines? Any suggestions?
