Guest guest
It might be just a reaction that you have to it, or it interacting with some other med you're on. It would be unfortunate if you had to stop it. Regarding the Tylenol PM, the sleep ingredient is Benadryl. So if that doesn't cause any allergies, you can just take that to help with sleep. The muscle relaxer I take is flexeril. Yes, it is for the FM. Some docs don't believe in muscle relaxers for FM and others do. When you think about the mysteries of what causes our pain, though, it makes sense that if you can get your muscles to relax some, it should ease the stress/pain continuam(sp?) in the body. (Ya know, like the time/space continuam? LOL!) Hope that helps explains things a bit better and that you can find a solution to sleep peacefully. Jeanne in WI Thanks for the detailed meds information. I am allergic to tylenol and anything with narcotic in it, so no Tylenol PM. I take the Cymbalta only in the morning. So shouldn't interfere as much as that evening dose you take. Now I'm wondering about the muscle relaxer you say you take - is it also for the fibro? Or something else? Haven't tried the Ambien. Usually the Amitriptylin works well for me, and my remaining wakenings are from my obstructive sleep apnea. This despite being on a bipap machine. The experience I'm having is one of wide-awake and legs moving around like crazy. Been tested for restless leg syndrome and don't have it. That's why I wondered if this feeling of being hopped up on a stimulant is the Cymbalta. girlsaylor
