I can not take pain meds or anything else now because it's just like having

surgery and you can't eat or take anything after a certain time. And I can't

take pain meds anyway because of my allergy to most of them. And the

possibility of them interacting with the medication they will give me could be

bad. They are going to numb my back first, which is supposed to be the worst

part. I've had the same mix of injection in my knee and shoulder. Just the

thought of a needle going into such a small space between two nerves bothers me.

They will give me something to relax me so I have a friend going to bring me

home.
