Announcement from the

Florida Developmental Disabilities Council

The Florida Developmental Disabilities Council is committed to providing individuals with developmental disabilities, families and other advocates with opportunities to follow and provide comment on the work of the Council. Currently, the Council posts notices of all meetings on the Council's website (www.fddc.org) under "Event Calendar". All agendas and meeting materials are posted on the web site under "What We Do" and then "Council Documents".

The Council's next quarterly meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 9th and Friday, December 10th at the Celebration Hotel, 700 Bloom Street, Celebration, Florida. At this meeting, as with all quarterly council meetings, the Committees meet on Thursday and full Council meeting is held on Friday. Individuals with developmental disabilities, families and other interested individuals are welcome to attend all meetings. The agendas and meeting materials for all of the December 9th committee meetings and the December 10th Council meeting can be found on the Council's web site (www.fddc.org).

Starting with this December committee and council meeting, we will be offering conference call access to listen to the discussions. As formal meetings of the Council, the participants in the discussions will be council members and staff only. A public comment period is provided for each committee and council meeting if you would like to make comments.
