Guest guest
We've talked here quite a lot about how to get the most from your doctor. With 's experience of Mark's doctors delaying investigation of the possibility of CCA, instead attributing all his symptoms to ESLD, I thought the following article was particularly relevant now. Dr Jerome Groopman is a hematologist who writes on medical issues for the New Yorker, and he has a new book called " How Doctors Think " that discusses the blindness physicians get when their own predispositions and experiences get in the way of diagnosis. Its a long article, so here's the link: http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2007/01/29/070129fa_fact_groopman?currentPage\ =1 Martha (MA) UC 1979, PSC 1992, asymptomatic
