Guest guest
What I'm trying to say is it ALL has to do with your pelvic floor. Your pelvic floor holds your whole core together. Have you read Dr. Weiss article that mentions a dog's tail and how he holds it between his legs when he is in pain or he is scared? But also, the pelvic floor starts holding tightly for seemingly no reason at all. Whether it be endo or a bike accident in childhood or an si joint imbalance or stubbing your toe. Just like the pf docs say, it can be something you've completely forgotten. Unfortunately as you know, I went to 22 docs before finding one who knew how to check my pelvic floor. And it took 2 minutes of exam for him to diagnose me with pelvic floor contracture and pudendal neuralgia and to recommend PT by Prendergast who ultimately saved my life (I saw her four times in one week, but continued doing self and husband PT for another year). love, Molly Re: My very unusual situation-Molly Molly,I sprained my toe in 2004 while trying to get up from thecomputer on a Sunday a.m. to answer the phone. Has nothing todo with my pelvic floor.I have not been holding my PF floor tightly all my life but if Ihave (the done so all my life part that is) it is due to amedical condition I have had since childhood that can't befixed. My pain threshold was messed up by my endo and waiting too longto get diagnosed (finally got diagnosed in 1997).I know you are just trying to help and same with Chelle (herinfo on the laps will be useful to ladies on another list I'm onstrictly for endo) and I thank you both but because of how wellI know my body I know the order in which and how I need to getthings done due to limitations. My pelvic floor muscles even if they are an issue (which theyaren't at this time until I find out otherwise by the properdoctor) is not a top priority right now. But if you can explainhow just cutting off a piece of skin from the labia minora wouldaffect my pelvic floor that would be great because then thatgives me a chance to do more research and ask my Pain Managementdoctor some more questions and also the physiatrist whenever Idecide to go (still trying to research right now).Kristy ____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ __
