I see Liz at www.pelvicpainrehab.com

She has helped me exponentially more than any physician ever has. My

nurse practitioner has also helped exponentially more than any

physician ever has. Even my so-so physical therapist (the first one,

not Liz) was better at addressing the root cause than my so-called

doctors. Maybe because I have doctors in my family I know this even

better than most...doctors are " just " human, too. There are some good

ones, some bad ones, and mostly mediocre ones. Liz has told me stories

of how she has had doctors come to HER to have her walk them through

how to properly do pelvic exams after they've done them for years,

awkwardly. I understand maybe you've had certain experiences that

would make you lean towards a physiatrist, and that's absolutely fine.

However, I don't want anybody to think that good pt is somehow subpar.

Even my ob-gyn mother-in-law (retired) doesn't trust doctors,

ESPECIALLY ob-gyns. Just my opinion.
