Guest guest
I really cannot imagine the artificial ones are any better than just taking the real thing, especially if a person only does it occasionally and in moderation. There are also natural fruit sweeteners and juices that can add extra sweetness. A squeeze of orange can do wonders, lol. Cheri -----Original Message----- I've been on a low carb diet for over 30 years. It didn't protect me from the dangers of artificial sweeteners. Linn . Guest guest
We use Xylitol for my daughter. Just make sure and get the kind made from birch bark, it tastes the best and doesn't cause GI problems. Linn > > Our whole family likes Xylitol - tastes like sugar, few if any calories, is actually good for teeth. You wouldn't want to use large amounts as it would cause loose bowels in some, but you might want to look it up if you can't find it in stores. > ----- Original Message ----- > Pat
