Guest guest
There are definitely effective treatments! I know that horrid pain with intercourse, but I am getting better and not feeling it anymore, and many others are too. You have to be willing to do alot of research and trial and error - it's taken me years to find the right combination of meds, therapies, diet, etc. and I'm not done yet but I'm much better than I was before! Please take some time to read the files and open your mind to the variety of treatments out there, like PT, diet changes, topical and oral meds...I use topical estrace and it has helped SO much. I only use it topically, not vaginally, and I believe studies have shown that not much is absorbed systemically with using just a tiny amount topically for skin repair/stretch. If you do some reading on hormones, especially Vliet's works, there is some interesting research on estrogen not presented by the media that may decrease your cancer fears. Others are more well-versed than I but when it comes to hormones, don't believe everything you hear, take the time to read and research on your own. Even some doctors are not well-versed in hormone therapy and the vast, vast different between hormones like premarin (made from horse urine and not meant to be metabolized or used well by the human body) and bio-identical hormones, which are chemical matches to what women actually produce.
