I am pretty sure that there are some of you in Physical therapy on

this board since I unsubbed from the Happy Pelvis board due to too

many emails.

Anyway, the other night I was feeling around and not inside, but

close to the vestibule on the left side I pressed down and I felt

what felt like a small hard ball. I kept the pressure on it as it

actually was painful, but felt better at the same time (trigger

point?).....

anyway, the next day my whole botton hurt to sit. But it was a

different type of pain from the vestibulitis....it was sore, but if

was the whole pelvic floor was sore, not just the one spot that I

pressed on. Now 48 hours later, the soreness is gone, but the ball

is still htere (and of course my thought is what happenes if I keep

pressing on it over time, will it go away?)......

so my question is to those that are in PT, is this a normal trigger

point spot? And am I correct in my explanation of what happens when

a trigger point is pressed on that one will be sore the next day all

over? I am still on a mission for answers and need to start PT work,

but there is nobody in my area or close to it, so I need to do it on

myself, but dont want to make things worse. :) Also, if anyone can

give me any suggestions for self PT that would be great.

TIA

Kimmi
