Guest guest
I take it that is who you have used?, I guess they are sending me forms also to have my dr's fill out, so that is all we are involved with them and the rest is done by them? It does not seem fair though that we have to possible wait 2 yrs from denial? That is a long time to go without income, I am begining to worry what I am going to do until my husband get's back to his offshore scalloping, which is not until end of April this yr, and if we keep up with this weather may be later this yr. I know you have it worse than me being single, I hope yours comes through quick! Take Care and hope your illness is getting better. Sharon Binder and Binder does everything for you. You talk to them over the phone; they do the forms and send them to you for signature.... that's about it. They take it from there. My doctors, the records, the spinal xrays, something must have proved to them that I was disabled and I did get back pay to Sept. 2005 since I hadn't filed earlier. Don't know how that happened and most people have been shocked. All I can say is that Allsup must have really played the game well with the adjudicator --- when they asked the same question on the inital form multiple times, the representative from Allsup caught it and just cut and pasted the previous answer. I only really spoke to the adjudicator 2 times, first time I told him to call Allsup and second time I told him where I had had xrays of my spine done (they must have been so bad that he decided he didn't want to put up with me and Allsup any more) And I had been just certain that I had mouthed off to the psychologist they sent me to that he would have said I was very competent. I do think it would be interesting to find out how they reached their decision so fast. Just Being Me ------------ --------- --------- --- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo!
