My daughter wears glasses and I had the transition lenses put in. I paid extra for them but it helps with the lighting, computer screen glare, and outside all at the same time.

Does anyone have any experience with or knowledge of Irlen lenses or overlays for kids on the spectrum? I was reading a blog by an adult in the UK who was recently diagnosed with Aspergers, and she mentioned that with the accommodations made possible by the diagnosis, she is doing much better in college classes than she did the first time she attended classes. One of the things she said has helped (especially with dealing with flourescent lights in classrooms) is glasses with Irlen lenses. My daughter has been having daily headaches for months, and so far, the pediatric neurologist we have been seeing has not been much help. So . . . Irlen, anyone? Thanks.
