Watch Dr. Offit on The Colbert Report Tonight

(January 31, 2011-New York, NY) -- Dr. Offit will be Colbert's special guest tonight on The Colbert Report. Dr. Offit will speak about his new book, "Deadly Choices: How The Anti-Vaccine Movement Threatens Us All". The show will air on Comedy Central, January 31st at 11:30 EST (the interview will take place toward the end of the program).All royalties from the sale of "Deadly Choices" go to the Autism Science Foundation. A. Offit, MD is the Chief of the division of Infectious Diseases at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He is a recipient of many awards including the J. Edmund Bradley Prize for Excellence in Pediatrics bestowed by the University of land Medical School and a Research Career Development Award from the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Offit has published more than 130 papers in medical and scientific journals and is a founding board member of the Autism Science Foundation. He is also the author of "Autism's False Prophets".
