Guest guest
Pat, I believe you can access past listserve posts by going to the Messages section and putting in a topic under Search Archives. This way you could free up some of your memory on your computer and make your hubbie happy! P.S. Is B home yet? Alison -- In RSS-Support@y..., " pcpets " wrote: > Hi Dayna! > You sound like me! Guest guest
Hi Alison, Thanks for reminding me about the archives. I have tried that, but I can't get it to work right. I thought you just put the topic that you wanted to find in search and it would bring up any emails related to that topic. Am I right? Does the word searched have to be in the subject line of the email? Oh well! Thought I'd ask my 12 yr old, Kaitlyn, to try it for me! LOL (Much more computer literate then I am. I need a search done, I just go and find her! LOL) Thanks for asking me about . It's been a while since I updated hasn't it. got home from the hospital just last night. Liz and ette brought him by on their way home, and showed me his new BSL tester. I guess, from what Liz said, they're going to try stopping his feeds for an hour and then putting him back on for two, then back off for one and so on, in prep for bolus feeds. He is back up to 25cc/hr for feeds, so that's good. Liz was telling me that 10/15 lines from his blood tests were off the norm, but she wasn't sure which ones or what they meant. Told her I could look at it for her, and see if I can ascertain what's up. The Drs let him come home anyway, so I guess he's okay. He still has CHF, of course, that will take time to go away, as will the swelling in his liver. He is back on Digoxin and Lasex, again, to regulate heart rhythm and reduce the fluids. Anyway, Liz told me that the Drs are testing for 4 different kinds of genetic problems, that have to do with the heart, and those tests will take 3 or so weeks to come back. They could be causing the repeat episode of CHF. I guess ette found out that some relatives, on her side, have this stuff. All in all, he looked good last night. He has 6 teeth in now! Four on the top and two on the bottom. His smile is just soooo cute! We haven't had him for a visit yet, but I am hoping either tomorrow, or Monday. We have really missed having him here with us. We won't have an official weight from his peds scale until at least Tuesday. It will be nice to know where we are starting again.
