Guest guest
I was out feeding my "pet" bees this morning when they gave me a reminder of another alternative treatment (one of the little ladies stung me). Bee stings work to relieve PA for me. My rheumy says it's an old wives tale, but I say it works anyway. Not a thing wrong with an old wife now and then. If anybody is interested I'd recommend they find a copy of "The Bible of Bee Venom Therapy" by Bodog F. Beck, MD. The book was originally published in 1935, it was republished in 1997 by Health Resources Press (1-301-460-6145). I believe that I got my copy from Amazon. I enjoy working with the bees, and the occasional sting is not a very big deterrent for me. And I love the honey, as do friends and neighbors. According to Dr Beck people with rheumatic diseases are largely non-reactive to bee stings (we don't swell up and itch for a week after being stung). Based on my experience, I'd have to agree with this. have fun - Rob Glover
Guest guest
Yup. Both. Very very helpful in conjunction with other things. Not exhaustive in our experience. Alternative Treatments Has anyone ever tried any alternative treatments like NAET or NMT?
Guest guest
This site is not restricted to any one protocol and I don't think it has been since I first started on it 4-5 years ago. The name is Cancercured not The Flax Oil List. There is a very active list dedicated to the BP (Budwig Protocol) aptly named, FlaxseedOil2. Joe C. Guest guest
I have a huge problem believing that one single thing is going to be effective. Rather I have a feeling that there must be numerous factors involved in solving the Big C problem. I just wish I KNEW which factors were the right ones for me. nofrillsbill <nofrillsbill@...> wrote: Am I reading things wrong? Guest guest
The Budwig Protocol, of course, is NOT one single thing, but is a constellation of things that centers around flax oil/cottage cheese. The Budwig Protocol means, for one thing, not eating animal protein, except for the cottage cheese. I have not yet figured out how to, or if it is possible to, reconcile Budwig with " The China Study, " which calls for zero animal protein. (Dr. Budwig did allow those clients of hers who absolutely could not do without their animal protein to eat a little of the cleanest possible meat or fish.) The Budwig Protocol also calls for moderate exercise, for daily exposure to the sun and for destressing. So it is not at all in the " one thing " category. I know you know that, Pam, but the way your reply looks, and the question to which it was addressed, is the reason I posted this reply. And with regard to knowing what works for YOU specifically, that is a matter of trial and error. You just need to keep on keeping on, and you will arrive at the knowledge of what works best for you. You can hardly go wrong doing the basics---cutting out animal protein, drinking lots of pure water, getting good sleep, moderate exercise and destressing.
