Guest guest
In some of my research, I found that many people have suggested Red Robin as a great place to eat. So, we went there for dinner tonite. I asked to see the Gluten Free menu and the poor server looked at me as if I were speaking Swahili. Needless to say..... I made a very conservative choice, a burger with no bun. I'm not " brave enough " to start asking for the manager yet. My poor little girl had nothing but fries, and now I'm afraid that the seasoning was gluten containing. UGH!! Thankfully, she was far more interested in the corn chips that came with the queso we had ordered. But, now I feel bad because she basically had nothing but corn chips for dinner. Has anyone had a good experience with red robin? Our server turned out to be absolutely wonderful, very kind, very friendly, and very good at her job. She was pretty young and fell in love with my children, especially the baby. She actually asked if she could hold him before we left. Made me forget how upset I was by the fact that she had no idea what a gluten free menu was. =)
Guest guest
Based on stories from here, our family made the trek to a Red Robin. Once. Our choice was a very poor one that night: - Friday night (CROWDS! Outrageously long wait. Busy staff.) - Lent - Friday in Lent (no meat for us) and - a FRANCHISED Red Robin (not a Corporate Red Robin). I was totally miserable. My glutenoid family was also disappointed. I ended up having a green salad with " add a hard boiled egg " . Since I had a $3 coupon, and my meal cost a whopping $3, my only consolation for a miserable evening was that I ate for free. We've never been back. On a recent long road trip, we passed many Red Robins. Although we were hungry and I said I'd be willing to give RR another try (Especially if it's a Corporate site, not a franchise), my husband vetoed it at every turn. Left, Right, Up, and Down, hubby said in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS " We are NOT eating at Red Robin. Find some place else. " Other have enjoyed it. I have not. You probably have the world's cutest baby (after my own, of course) or the world's best suck-up waitress!
