Guest guest
I drive my husband crazy becasue I'm always stopping in the middle of a sentence and it takes me anywhere form 10-30 seconds to get started again. My kids also play " What's the word I'm looking for " with me now. My friends are very used to me stopping mid sentencs and saying " What were we talking about? " A favorite saying amoung all of us now is " Oooohhhh! Something shiny! " Cherie Experience: that most brutal of teachers. Guest guest
I can relate. I do that too. Or switch topics abruptly because I don't remember what we were talking about. Or walking in a room a million times because I have something to get, but once I get to the room forget, leave and remember again, the go back and play the game all over again. I am meeting up with a friend who I used to work with in the early 90s and we have reconnected via email. Anyway, she hasn't seen me since I was a skinny energetic person who could communicate very well. I am nervous about getting together because I think she will be shocked at how I have trouble with verbal communication. My writing is much better (as bad as it is). Oh, well, I guess I will have to fill her in on all the health problems and how they affect me. Although people often do not understand. I know when it first started getting bad I would stumble UP the stairs and get very clumsy then at a different job I started slurring my speech and there were rumors I was drunk. I gave up drinking any alcohol years before because my liver couldn't take even small sips so it was kind of sad and funny at the same time. Guest guest
My handwriting has always been awful so I can't blame it on low adrenals.....or can I? I wonder. My birth mother has had problems with her thyroid all her life. She may have also had problems with adrenals and it may have affected me in utro.... Cherie Experience: that most brutal of teachers.
